COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- More than two and a half years after a fatal shooting at a Columbus County party, a man already in jail has been charged with murder and aggravated assault.
Rahmel Dwayne Chavis, 29, is charged with the murder of Ulicus Miller Robinson and aggravated assault of Dysheka Shaquille Bell and Miyah Michelle Moore.
Investigators say on Dec. 17, 2011, the trio was shot on a crowded dance floor at the Triple K Ranch in Delco. The facility was frequently rented out for events.
Chavis was already in custody on other, unrelated charges. He is now being held in the Columbus County jail without bond.
