WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) -- Surprise Squad not only filled up some grocery carts, it also helped out a good cause at the Food Lion in Whiteville Thursday.
As a special promotion at Food Lion, for every re-usable bag a customer buys for a $1.19, Food Lion will donate five meals through their Feeding America program.
Thanks to Alan Perry and Perry's Emporium for allowing WWAY's Surprise Squad to continue to give back to the community.
